Two-factor authentication (2FA) or multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an extra layer of security to ensure that users accessing an application are who they say they are. Using 2FA with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) can provide security as well as compliance benefits, however Oracle EBS does not natively support 2FA/MFA. This educational webinar discusses use cases for implementing 2FA with Oracle EBS, reviews the 2FA options available for Oracle EBS, and walks through the process to implement 2FA with Oracle EBS using Integrigy’s AppDefend and Duo Security MFA. Two-factor authentication can be used to protect the entire Oracle EBS application, protect specific user accounts such as SYSADMIN for SOX compliance, protect individual responsibilities like System Administrator for SOX or GDRP compliance, or even protect a single page like HR Self-Service employee bank account in order to prevent fraud from phishing attacks.
